Revelation 17:4 ….’ And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication.’……

Yea I know, that verse cannot be referring to the catholic church because the scarlet colour represents the blood of Jesus and the purple represents His royalty, King of Kings. Nice try!

The cartoon illustrates how the Vatican changes the word of God with authority, and the Lord is obliged to agree, so they say.   “And God himself is Obliged to abide by the judgment of his priest and either not to pardon or to pardon, according as they refuse to give absolution, provided the penitent is capable of it.” Dignity and Duties of the Priest, p. 27, New York: Benziger Brothers, Printers to the Holy Apostolic See, 1888.

The second commandment is not found in the catholic catechism. Wonder why ?  See below.
